May 3, 2008 Orbis Volunteer Day Orbis teamed up with over 300 other volunteers to assist our community.  We helped with painting, gardening, landscaping and most importantly, making a difference in the lives of children that attend Tomorrow's Rainbow. April 10, 2008 Speaking Series -- Coach Howard Schnellenberger This cocktail hour featured legendary guest speaker, Coach Howard Schnellenberger, head football coach of the FAU Owls.  Aside from hearing from a great, each person in attendence helped lend support to the American Cancer Society in honor of Coach's son, Stephen, who recently passed  away from a rare form of cancer.  February 29, 2008 Tony and Tina's Wedding Orbis and Entourage joined together to host an evening at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Orbis members and guests attended Tony & Tina's Wedding an interactive Off-Broadway hit where the guests are a part of the wildest wedding ever! The evening included dinner, dancing, and lots of laughs. February 7, 2008 Speaker Series -- Luis Mago This interactive breakfast with Luis Mago, a renowned business strategist, was a fantastic opportunity. Aside from learning valuable life skills, each participant had a hand in helping "Go Red for Women", a national movement founded by the American Heart Association. November 8, 2007 Goodbye Hurricanes, Hello Charity! This repeat event at Tarpon Bend was a great one. Our donations and canned foods went directly to The Shepherd's Way, a Fort Lauderdale charity dedicated to helping local homeless families get back on their feet. September 8, 2007 Orbis Volunteer Day During this Saturday morning event, Orbis volunteers hosted a picnic lunch donated by Bagelstein's, and provided much needed support. Aside from planting gardens, the group repaired and painted one of the shelters. June 14, 2007 An Aviation Experience Thanks to the help of Riverwalk Trust, BACH (Benefactors Advancing Covenant House), and numerous sponsors, Orbis was proud to present An Aviation Experience Evening Reception at the Museum of Discovery and Science in Fort Lauderdale. April 26, 2007 Business Etiquette For All Thanks to all the fantastic sponsor support we received, Orbis was able to send a child to Camp Good Grief. Here are some selected photos from the event.
