Orbis Membership Levels Orbis Committees

Orbis Membership Levels Committee Member • Attend monthly committee meetings • Active participation at all Orbis events • Active recruiting of new Orbis members • $50 annual contribution • Discounted admission at all Orbis events • Advance invitations to limited space events Active Member (Click here to join) • Attend at least two Orbis events per year • $25 annual contribution • Discounted admission at all Orbis events • Advance invitations to limited space events Basic Member (Click here to join) (Free) • Option to attend selected Orbis events at full price • Opportunity to network with professionals passionate about developing business and a sense of community in South Florida   Orbis Committees Membership Committee Ensures that our membership and corporate records are accurate and current. Other responsibilities include tracking membership, organizing the collection of dues, creating communications to be sent by the Communications Committee to Orbis's membership, and compiling demographic statistics of members. Communications Committee Maintains and supervises the maintenance of Orbis's website, coordinates public relations with the media, maintains the electronic mailing lists of members, and communicates to members through e-mail. Community Outreach Committee Plans, advertises and coordinates community volunteer events for Orbis's membership. Other responsibilities include ensuring that the Membership Committee is informed of all events with sufficient time to make sure members are notified of events and encouraged to attend. Speaker Series Committee Plans, advertises and coordinates panels and speakers that would provide a benefit to the South Florida business community. Other responsibilities include ensuring that the Membership Committee is informed of all events with sufficient time to make sure members are notified of events and encouraged to attend. Social Committee Plans, advertises and coordinates informal social gatherings that would allow members of Orbis to meet other members of the South Florida business community. Social events can be informal, but should project a professional business image. Other responsibilities include ensuring that the Membership Committee is informed of all events with sufficient time to make sure members are notified of events and encouraged to attend.
